Chowara Beach is a serene and secluded beach which is nestled on the shores of the magnificent Arabian Sea in Thiruvananthapuram District. This beach is situated 18 Km south of Kovalam.

It is a virgin beach in which numerous coconut trees are lined along the vast stretch of golden sand.

The Chowara beach is inhabited as a fishing village and is well-known for its fishing spots. The sight of fishermen sailing to the sea for their daily catch and some of them pulling in their nets from the sea whereas some land their catch then auction it off is a common sight of this beach destination as well as a unique experience for the tourists. And the sight of eagles and kites circle above the sea is another delightful sight of this place.
