Following your arrival at the airport of the city of Rio de Janeiro you will be received by our local personnel. You will be transferred to your hotel at Rio where you can relax and save some energy for the next day when you will indulge into the wonders of the samba land Brazil. Today morning enjoy the city tour, you will be taken to the most attractive landmarks in the Cosme Velho district. There is also a cable car station here where you will board in a cable car which takes you to the top of the 710 meter Corcovado Hill. It is world renowned for the statue of Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) built atop the hill. It stands 38 meter tall atop the Corcovado Hill surrounded by a platform beneath the statue from where you get a panoramic view of the landscape downtown and around the hills which includes the Ipanema Beach, the famous Maracana Stadium, the silvery Copacabbana Beach and also the slums of Rio. Subsequently you will be directed to Praia Vermelha which is another cable car station and this time, it takes you to another striking landmark of Rio, the Pan de Azucar better known as the Sugarloaf Mountain situated at the mouth of the famous Guanabara Bay. You will be transferred to the airport, from where you will board a flight to Iguazu. You will visit the Iguazu national park, a UNESCO world heritage site. At the heart of the national park lie the 8,800 feet wide semicircular waterfalls of Iguazu. It is the 4th largest waterfalls in the world with 250 spectacular falls surrounded by the lush Atlantic Rainforests. The park shares its area with Argentina?s National Park. There is a watch tower built in the park, from where you can have a look on both the Brazilian and the Argentine side of the park. Lodging in Iguazu.
Today morning, you will drive across the Tancredo Neves Bridge, which connects Brazil and Argentina crossing over the Iguazu River. When you reach the other side you will be taken to visit the Argentine Iguazu National Park and stop at Puerto Canoas. While returning back you will stop at a border point which marks the borders of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. During afternoon you are free and have some relaxation time for yourselves. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport and board your flight to the city of Salvador de Bahia or simply Salvador. It is famous for its beaches and lively nightlife which drives a huge traffic from European and American countries. Surf tourism is another attraction for the visitors. Large waves from the Pacific Ocean make El Salvador one of the best surfing spots in the whole world. Night stay at Salvador.
As per today?s program, you shall have a walk down the streets of Salvador's city center and a visit to its local attractions. It includes the Punta da Barra lighthouse, Castro Alves Theater, Fort S?o Pedro, Castro Alves Square, and the Pelourinho, the historical center of Salvador. Named as a world cultural center by UNESCO in 1985, Pelourinho has many theaters, churches and monuments of great historical value. The central attraction here is a whipping post which was used to punish the African slaves for the violation of rules. After the tour, you will have the afternoon off. Overnight stay in Salvador.
Today as per your departure schedule you will be transferred to Salvador airport and have a safe flight back home.
