On arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway station you will be met and greeted by our Guests Relations Executive and he will introduce your driver to you. Then proceed driving to Munnar which is one of the beautiful hill stations of Kerala. It’s a nature lover’s paradise located above the sea level of 1660m. It is undoubtedly a summer resort located amongst the tea plantations, winding lanes, green grass, flora and fauna. The hills, lakes, valleys and the forests does make this place as a perfect summer spot to everyone. It is located at the convergence of three mountain streams, hence the name Munnar. The climate in Munnar is so pleasant that it attracts visitors throughout the year. Enroute visit Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. Apart from that you have an option to visit a Tea plantation – as Munnar is well known for Tea plantation. If you get a chance you also can witness local people plucking tea leaves plantation on the field which will be done once in 15 days, on arrival at Munnar check in at hotel and relax by enjoying the nature of hill station, overnight stay at Munnar.
Munnar is a lovely hill station filled with tea plantations and misty mountains. Munnar is very scenic as there are lot of narrow hair pin roads and enroute you can see beautiful valleys, tea gardens and small waterfalls. Sightseeing of Munnar includes Eravikulam National Park – where you can see large number of Nilgiri Thar. It is a sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgri Tahr. Every year, it remains closed during February and March. Tea Museum (closed on Monday) is where you can see tea processing and you can also taste the delicious tea, later visit to Mattupetty dam, here you have an option for boating as well & visit Echo point where you can hear echoes of your own voice, overnight stay at Munnar.
Proceed towards Kumarakom which is the charming backwater village. Experience a different world all together with the splendid backwaters, houseboats floating among the coconut trees, and glimpse of the local life at Kumarakom. Bird sanctuary here is a safe haven to millions of lovely birds and other species. Your days here will definitely be enriching. Enroute you can visit Rubber plantation, on arrival at Kumarakom check in at resort and relax, you can enjoy the optional Ayurvedic massage, overnight stay at resort in Kumarakom.
Morning visit to Kumarakom Bird sanctuary where you have a chance to see different variety of migratory birds and you can also hear its beautiful chirping sound. Later drive to Alleppey which is the beautiful backwater village where you can experience the real backwater cruise. On arrival check in at resort and relax, later in the evening enjoy motor boat cruise for two hours. During cruise you can see paddy field, churches, day to day activities of local people like washing clothes and vessels on lake side, overnight stay at resort in Alleppey.
After breakfast proceed towards Cochin, if time permits you can do either shopping on M.G road or short tour of Cochin includes Chinese fishing nets - which is the oldest style of fishing & this fishing net is one of the main attractions of Cochin. After that you can visit Mattancherry Palace (closed on Every Friday) – here you can see the best collection of Mural paintings & unique collections of palanquin, ornaments, coins & stamp. After exploring the palace, you can visit Jewish Synagogue – it is a worship place of Jewish, apart from that one can witness the attractive Antique elements and architecture here (closed on Friday and Saturday). Later you will be transferred to Cochin Airport / railway station with sweet memories of your tour.
