On your arrival at Tiruchirapalli Airport our representative with receive you at the airport and escort you to your pre booked hotel. Have some rest and then visit Sri Rangam temple. After a quick visit to the most sought after tourist destinations in Trichy, head towards Tiruvannamalai, which is about 220 km from Tiruchirapalli and by road it takes around 5 hours to reach there. At Tiruvannamalai, visit the great Shiva Temple of Tamil Nadu, Arunachaleshwarar temple which is located on the foot hills of Annamalai. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Tiruvannamalai.
Tirupati will be the second destination in your Pilgrimage Tour. After your early breakfast, start for Tirupati which is around 230 km from Tiruvannamalai and by road it will take less than six hours to reach there. Tirupati is one of the most sacred cities of India and is known for Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. When you are in Tirupati do not forget to buy red wooden toys or copper and brass idols. Your stay will be at hotel in Tirupati.
Chennai is a city rich in culture and art. The third day of your Pilgrimage tour will be dedicated to Chennai. Start early for Chennai from Tirupati and you will reach there in 04 hours. The distance between these two cities is about 180 Km. In Chennai, visit some of the most popular temples like Kapaleeshwara temple, Astalakshmi temple, Vadapalani Murugan temple and others. Enjoy the serene sunset at Marina beach. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Chennai.
On the fourth day of your Tamil Nadu Pilgrimage Tour, start for Chidambaram. This city is at a distance of 250 Km from Chennai. Most of the temples in Chidambaram are dedicated to Lord Shiva and few are also dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Your next halt after Tanjore will be Pillayarpatti. Pay a visit to Pillayarpatti Vinayagar temple and then start for Rameshwaram. Rameshwaram is 270 Km from Tanjore and it takes six hours to reach there by road. Rameshwaram is one of the 12 Jyothiralinga temples in India. On the seventh day start for Madurai after having your early breakfast at hotel in Rameshwaram. Madurai is located at around 170 km from Rameshwaram and you can reach there by road within four hours. Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai is the most important place to visit. Apart from this, visit some more temples like Azhagar Kovil, Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam and Thiruparamkuntram. About 122 km away is Palani from Madurai, which is your next destination. By road it takes less than three hours to reach there. Palani is popular for Lord Dhandayudhapani temple, which is one among the six abodes of Lord Murugan. After this, head towards Tiruchirapalli (Trichy). Overnight stay will be at Trichy hotel.
