Maha Shivaratri “the great night with Almighty” is one of the holiest days of the Hindu calendar. The fourteenth day of every lunar month is known to be Shivaratri. Among all the twelve Shivarathiris that occur in a year, Mahashivaratri, which falls in February-March is greatly revered and is loaded with high spiritual significance.
