Araku Balloon Festival is a 3-day International Hot-Air Balloon Festival organized by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism every year in the month of January at the most scenic Araku Valley, nestled in the Eastern Ghats Range. This year, the third edition of the Araku Balloon Festival will be scheduled in the month of January or February (official date will be published soon). This 3-day carnival is filled with adventure, fun and galore, featuring unique and colourful hot-air balloons from around 15 countries across the world, sure to attract tourists and hot-air balloon enthusiasts to Araku Valley.
The hot-air balloon rides offer you an opportunity to explore the stunning Araku Valley, its lush green gardens and surrounding hills, all from a bird’s eye view which is the main highlight of the Araku Balloon Festival. The festival also includes scintillating balloon nightglows and tethered flights, paramotoring displays and stunts, musical concerts, trekking, as well as night camps, making it an extra-special event, not to be missed at any cost.
